SEASIDE towns are facing a massive clear-up operation after storm. surges smashed into the east coast.
High winds and huge waves slammed into Scotland on Sunday and Monday, causing extensive damage to harbour walls, coastal roads and tourist attractions.
Huge waves breached the harbour in North Berwick, East Lothian, smashing a 15ft gap in its 200-year-old walls.
