A VILE brute has been sentenced to life for the murder of a former B&B host and charity champion.
Michael Joyce, 33, who had denied murder, appeared for sentence at the High Court in Stirling after being found guilty last month of a fatal attack that left Michael White, 61, with fractured ribs and internal injuries.
Joyce will have to serve a minimum of 16 years before he can be considered for parole.
Michael was said to have raised money for victims of disasters helping thousands around the world.
