COMIC cChris McCausland will make history as the first blind contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 47-year-old, has been confirmed as the first celebrity to have signed up to this year's series after being revealed on yesterday's This Morning show.

He said: "If anybody out there is thinking, "How the hell is he going to do that?, then rest assured that I am thinking exactly the same thing, "I don't dance, I haven't danced, I can't dance, I can't see the dancing I will have to do. What can possibly go wrong?
"Okay, don't answer that. I've never watched Strictly ever. I don't know what I'm getting myself into.
"Ask me when I get into week two and get the hang of it"
Chris, who will be known to younger viewers and their parents from CBeebies show Me Too! admitted to feeling "massively apprehensive" but is going to give it his "best shot". The stand-up's inclusion comes three years after actress Rose Ayling-Ellis the show's first deaf contestant - won in 2021.
