A SCOTS sex predator who filmed himself abusing a young boy was caught after the victim’s mum spotted “concerning” texts on her son’s phone. 

Daniel Sneddon, 27, has been jailed for more than 13 years after admitting child abuse charges including four of rape.

The Kilmarnock man began grooming the boy in the spring of 2021 when his victim was 10. He would bribe the child, from Cheshire, by offering to buy him things in order to sexually assault him.
