THIS chilling photo shows the spot where a crazed killer buried a young mum and her two-year-old daughter under his kitchen floor.
Andrew Innes, 52, was jailed for life yesterday after a jury convicted him of murdering Bennylyn and Jellica Burke.
Bennylyn's family said: "We shall be forever haunted."
EVIL Andrew Innes was yesterday jailed for life for the brutal murders of Bennylyn Burke and her toddler daughter Jellica.
He was also convicted of sickening sexual abuse of another little girl at his home in Troon Avenue, Dundee.
The case traumatised jurors and legal teams, such was the depravity of the 52-year-old’s crimes.
Chilling images from inside the lair of the double killer emerged showing the kitchen burial spot where he dumped the bodies in 2021.
A five-day trial at the High Court in Edinburgh had heard how Innes killed Bennylyn, 25, after meeting her on a website for men to date Filipino women.
He stabbed and battered her to death as she stood at his kitchen sink, telling the court he did it because she reminded him of his ex-wife.
He killed her two-year-old daughter Jellica about three days later as she wouldn't stop screaming, wrapped their bodies in tarpaulins and buried them in a pit in his kitchen.
His seven-year-old rape victim was repeatedly sexually assaulted during the same week after witnessing the killings at the house of horrors.
The jury had to listen to a stomach-churning police interview with the little girl in which she detailed what she had seen. Shocking images from inside the killer's home show a makeshift bed that officers discovered after they swooped on the property. On top of the bed, which sat in front of a couch, teddies can be seen placed around pillows.
