COPS PROBE STAFF 'RAPE' AT TRUMP'S TURNBERPY

32-year-old nicked after incident at hotel workers' accommodation

A STAFF member at the luxury Trump Turnberry resort was allegedly raped by a male colleague.

The woman was allegedly attacked in staff accommodation at the site near Girvan, Ayrshire.

It's understood the incident was reported to management before Police Scotland were called to the scene.

The force has confirmed a 32-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection.

He later appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court. No dates have yet been fixed for future hearings, the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service have confirmed.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious sexual assault involving a woman at a premises in the Maidens Road area of Turnberry.
