DOCTOR Who star David Tennant says returning to the role feels like a "victory lap" after years of joy working on the show.
Fan favourite Tennant, 52, who previously appeared as the 10th Doctor, returns this autumn to mark the show's 60th anniversary.
Starring with former sidekick Catherine Tate in her role as Donna Noble, the Good Omens star says his return started as a light-hearted conversation.
He is delighted to appear again as the Doctor in three specials - The Star Beast, Wild Blue Yonder and The Giggle.
