AN ABUSIVE thug tortured his girlfriend's dog before throwing its body out of a window.

Donald Gollan, 35, was found guilty of abusive behaviour at Dumbarton Sheriff Court after a neighbour's CCTV captured him hurling Chihuahua Archie from the first floor of his girlfriend's Helensburgh home in March 2022.

The harrowing footage sickened devastated owner Laura Park, who had been out celebrating her son James' sixth birthday when her ex attacked her dog.

Laura, 42, said she arrived home to find Archie was missing before discovering blood spattered across the walls in her little boy's bedroom.

Laura told the Record: "It was like a crime scene. I've never seen anything like it in my life.
