FAMILIES who lost loved ones to Covid hit out at their "shameful" treatment as public hearings began into the pandemic response in Scotland.
Members of the Scottish Covid Bereaved group spoke out about being sidelined as the hearings launched in Dundee.
Aamer Anwar, the group's lead solicitor, said it was "deeply disrespectful" the Scottish Covid-19 Inquiry got underway without paying respects to those who lost their lives.
