IT'S been four years since Only An Excuse? last graced our screens but fans of the sketch show are in for a treat as Jonathan Watson is back with his buddies for a one-off Euros comedy special.
The All Star Euros Sketch show will see Watson transforming into football favourites including Sir Alex Ferguson, Stevie Clarke, Frank McAvennie, Jim White and Kenny Dalglish.
The starting line-up will also include new signing Graeme "Grado" Stevely debuting as Ally McCoist among others.
Watson, whose cult show Only An Excuse? was a Hogmanay highlight before its run finished in 2020, said: "It was a privilege to be asked to contribute to the programme.
"Especially when I get to join forces with my old mucker from Two Doors Down..Grado. Hope the viewers enjoy our contribution. Come on Scotland!"
The one-off sketch show also sees The Chief Jack Docherty planning his ambassadorial trip to Deutschland and extra Euros action featuring key Scot Squad regulars including Officer Karen, aka actress Karen Bartke.
There's also a Euros-inspired scene from The Scotts starring Rab Florence, Iain Connell, Shauna McDonald, Sharon Young, Louise McCarthy, Lee Greig and Jamie MacDonald.
Other highlights include Still Game's Greg Hemphill who writes and performs brand new sketch material; while his sidekick Ford Kiernan showcases a character new to TV.
