A SNAPCHAT predator who tricked young girls to send indecent images and videos of themselves by posing as a model scout targeted children in Scotland.
Investigators believe Ishmael Duncan made online contact with almost 10,000 children with some aged as young as nine - across the UK, America, Canada and Australia.
The National Crime Agency confirmed to the Record on Friday that "a number" of his young victims are Scottish.
The 24-year-old set up numerous social media accounts to ask the youngsters if they were interested in becoming models for wellknown fashion brands.
He found out their ages and asked for clothed images and videos before sending over bogus modelling contracts.
After building trust with his victims, Duncan then asked for topless photos to "assess their body shape".Those who refused were threatened with being blacklisted from the industry.
His victims were then sent a chilling message from a different Snapchat account which read: "This is an automated message.
