FOOD FIRM BOSS SWEPT INTO RIVER: CRISPS TYCOON KILLED BY BABET

A SCOTS crisps tycoon has been killed in Storm Babet.

Wendy Taylor, 57, was swept away into a river while on holiday.

The mum of three was a director at Taylor Snacks group, which was formerly Mackie's Crisps, and was married to owner George.

Last night, her shattered family   paid tribute to her. A statement said: "We are absolutely heartbroken to lose Wendy in such tragic circumstances and are still struggling to come to terms with it. Wendy was a beautiful, kind, funny and caring person.

"She was a ray of sunshine for everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
