Fiona Harvey, 59, described Gadd as “a fantasist and a professional victim” as he collected three of the show’s four awards at the TV Oscars in Los Angeles.

She also criticised Emmy voters who picked Gadd in the best writer, actor and executive producer categories.

Having watched the Emmys live from her home in London, Harvey told The Record: “The level of intellect is clearly not high among the voters.

“Gadd’s speech was a joke and he looked terrible in a kilt.”

She also doubled down by claiming she’ll win her £130million lawsuit against the streaming giant over its claim in opening credits that Baby Reindeer was “a true story”.

Fiona was the inspiration behind the stalker character Martha in the Netflix series but the Scot denies any wrongdoing.
