ARNE SLOT is delighted to see striker Darwin Nunez finally delivering for Liverpool after his difficult start to the season.
Nunez had to make do with a place on the bench in the first few weeks as Slot went with Diogo Jota as his No 9.
The Uruguay striker got his chance when Jota was forced off injured against Chelsea last Sunday and repaid Slot when he bagged the winner against RB Leipzig N BU with his second goal of the season in the Champions League in midweek.
Nunez will again lead Liverpool's attack at Arsenal tomorrow in place of Jota, who is still out, in only his fifth start of the season.
Slot, left, is pleased by Nunez's contribution and praised his work rate.
