ABERDEEN boss Jimmy Thelin has warned Bojan Miovski that what he does on the pitch will determine his long-term prospects.

Demand for the Macedonian striker has risen this week with La Liga sides Espanyol and Girona showing interest along with Serie A outfit Bologna.

But Thelin reckons Miovski is ready for action with Dons until his future is settled.

He also added that the frontman wants to give the Red Army a few goals before he heads to pastures new.

Thelin said: "He wants to give back to the supporters, he's still an Aberdeen player and we can't forget about that that's the most important thing.

"Whatever happens in the future, they still need to take care of themselves and be ready to perform, I think Bojan's doing that really well.

"They need to understand their daily work is what TODAY, 3PM makes a difference for the long term that goes for every player who has a bit of noise around them.

"It says a lot about him and how professional he is and how humble and grateful he is for his Aberdeen journey.

"You never know what is going to happen, it is what it is and he's been good in how we show up, how we train and how we compete on the training pitch.
