MATHE twin of a man found dead in a harbour last Christmas has demanded police reinvestigate the case.
Mikey Knox wants to know why officers appeared to rule out suspicious circumstances after the death of his brother David on Boxing Day.
The 37-year-old was found partially clothed in the harbour at Cellardyke, Fife, at 8.30am after a Christmas Day party at a neighbour’s home.
But Mikey believes there are unanswered questions after personal items – including his phone and keys – were later discovered in the possession of another man.
Mikey said: “We were told very quickly on the day he was found it was obviously a suicide. When someone so close to you is suddenly found dead, you’re numb with the shock and you tend to accept what those in authority say.
“But with time to consider everything, I know my brother did not kill himself.
