No regrets for Pat over Jonny storm as he hails 'flawless' Aussies

PAT CUMMINS insists the Aussies did "nothing wrong" in the controversial dismissal of Jonny Bairstow - and he'd happily do it again.

Australia moved 2-0 up in the Ashes series at Lord's but their 43run win was overshadowed by Alex Carey throwing down the stumps of Bairstow, who had stepped out of his crease thinking the ball was dead.

Even Prime Ministers have had their say on the flashpoint, with some of the fallout extending to Oz skipper Cummins and whether he could have withdrawn the appeal.

Whether Cummins acted within the oft-quoted "spirit of cricket" has been scrutinised, while the spectre of sandpapergate five years on from the Cape Town scandal still hangs over Australia.
