Fox relishing role with Jambos' colts

I'll B better prepared when I'm back at Hearts

LIAM FOX insists he has returned to Hearts a better coach as he sets his sights on developing the B team.

Fox was last week appointed as Steven Naismith's successor with the colt side after leaving his first-team coaching role at Aberdeen due to family reasons.

A former Hearts youth academy player, Fox held various roles on the backroom staff at Tynecastle before departing the club in 2020.

Since then he has coached at Livingston and the Dons and also took charge at Dundee United during the first half of last season.

And the 39-year-old insists those experiences have been invaluable.

He said: "I've been away now for about three years and seen some different things at different clubs.
