It's Ful steam ahead now in fight to stay up

HERO Hamilton keeper Ryan Fulton is hungry to get his hands on more silverware after admitting SPFL Trust Trophy glory has given him the taste for it.

But first the No.1 knows Accies must prove they have the stomach for a Championship survival scrap after serving up a resilient showing to grab the spoils on Sunday.

Fulton made two fine saves to help 10-man Hamilton hold out against Raith Rovers for a 1-0 win and their first knockout silverware in 30 years.

Point-blank stops from Lewis Vaughan were vital to them leaving the Falkirk Stadium victorious and had boss John Rankin dubbing the 26-year-old the "standout keeper in the league".

They partied on Sunday night but the celebrations were halted yesterday when their focus returned to an eight-game fight to beat the drop, starting at Dundee on Saturday as they bid to get off bottom.
