Keothavong: Boulter is born for big stage

KATIE BOULTER has been told she's born for the big stage - and can shock the defending champion on Centre Court today.

The British No.1 takes on Elena Rybakina in the biggest match of her career in a bid to reach the fourth round of a Grand Slam for the first time.

But Leicester fan Boulter showed she relishes the big occasion when she shocked former finalist and No.6 seed Karolina Pliskova on Centre Court last year.

Billie Jean King Cup captain Anne Keothavong insists her top-ranked player - who won her first WTA title in Nottingham last month has the temperament and the game to cause another Wimbledon upset.

BBC analyst Keothavong said: "She is born for the big stage.

"When I think back to my own career, I wasn't one for the big stage. Maybe you're either born for it or you're not.
