CLUTCHING his MasterChef trophy, winner Brin Pirathapan wants to spice up his life by becoming a professional chef.
He triumphed in the final of the 20th series with a mouth-watering menu which included a main course of spiced venison loin, beef short-rib and pickled mushroom tartlet.
And it hugely impressed judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace, with John declaring it was the "best final they have ever done".
He added: "Brin is an extraordinary cook and an amazing talent.
"He takes combinations that don't sound like they belong together, but they actually work.
"He's delivered three absolutely sensational courses that could grace the table of any restaurant up and down the land."
Veterinary surgeon Brin won a close final against Louise Lyons Macleod and Chris Willoughby, both 44.
The 29-year-old said: "I'm absolutely chuffed to bits. I can't breathe.
"I'm a big mix of my background, my culture and all the opportunities my parents have given me. They've been incredible and I've done it for them as much as I've done it for myself.
