NOVAK DJOKOVIC has warned: "I'm going to keep going" after winning his record-equalling 24th Grand Slam title and comparing himself to LeBron James and Tom Brady.

The Serbian superstar, 36, became the oldest Flushing Meadows champion in the Open era with his 6-3 7-6 6-3 win over Daniil Medvedev.

With his great rival Roger Federer retired and Rafa Nadal on his farewell tour next season, Djokovic's longevity has become a bit of a joke.

At the trophy ceremony, world No.3 Medvedev asked: "I don't know when you plan to maybe slow down a bit?"
