Miss Scotland allegedly thrown out of event by security staff

MISS Scotland Lucy Sophia Thomson has allegedly been caught on camera being drunkenly ejected from a rugby event in Edinburgh at the weekend.

The 24-year-old businesswoman, from Dunfermline, is believed to be the woman in a video shared with the Record showing security staff escorting a blonde-haired lady from the Edinburgh City 7s event on Saturday.

Separately allegations were made about a worker being assaulted and racially abused at the event.

In the clip, a woman dressed in a matching cream shorts-and-top set can be seen being led off of Peffermill Playing Fields in the capital.

She can be seen stumbling and being physically lifted up by security staff, who struggle with her as they bring her back to her feet.

Thomson is an entrepreneur who runs the Scottish Fashion Association, an events firm that aims to "address the challenges that the fashion communities face such as racism, sexism and gender inequality".

The video was captured by a spectator at the event, which is described by organisers as "bringing an invitational rugby 7s competition with a party atmosphere to Scotland's capital".
