FORMER Celtic striker Anthony Stokes is being hunted by police after failing to appear in court for a THIRD time.
The 35-year-old was to be sentenced at Hamilton Sheriff Court for sending his ex-girlfriend Eilidh Scott and her dad offensive messages.
The case has been hit with a string of delays and two warrants were earlier issued for his arrest.
Stokes flew from Dublin to Glasgow last month and handed himself into police before appearing in court in handcuffs.
Sheriff Ross Macfarlane KC branded him a "flight risk" but freed Stokes after hearing he planned to stay at a flat owned by Donald Hughes, dad of businessman Barry Hughes.
