A MUSIC-LOVING mum went in to labour at a pop festival before being rushed to hospital - then returned to the gig with her newborn baby.
Nurse Kate MacMillan was so desperate to see Deacon Blue at the Belladrum Tartan Heart festival, she went back the day after giving birth.
Then she then returned to the festival again the following day - with newborn Callan.
Partner Darren and the couple's other two kids, Seamus, four, and Peggy, two, joined Kate as she rocked out with her whole family.
Speaking about her remarkable weekend Kate, 28, told the Record: "In the morning, after the baby was born, the weather was nice so I decided to go back and enjoy the rest of the weekend. I wanted to see Deacon Blue.
I was still full of adrenalin.
"Going back to the festival it was all a blur and it was such a nice atmosphere and the kids had a great time."
Kate hadn't been due to give birth until a week later so the family decided to go to the event, held from July 25 to 27, near Inverness.
They settled in their tent at the 25,000-capacity venue on the first afternoon.
