Russia is 16 times bigger, we haven't started yet - chilling threat from Putin's London mouthpiece

RUSSIA'S UK ambassador yesterday threatened "a new dimension" in the war with Ukraine - hours after a huge drone attack on Kyiv.

Andrei Kelin accused the UK of fuelling an "escalation" in the 15-month conflict by supplying Kyiv with longrange missiles and helping it obtain fighter jets.

Kelin insisted Russia would win and told BBC1's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg: "It's a big idealistic mistake to think Ukraine may prevail. Russia is 16 times bigger than Ukraine - we have enormous resources. We haven't started yet to act very seriously."

Kelin, appointed as Russian leader Vladimir Putin's London mouthpiece in 2019, claimed an "escalation of war" was being "undertaken by Nato countries, especially by the UK".
