A SERIAL rapist battered his vulnerable partner to death with a tyre iron after terrorising her and six other women.
When police caught Mark Campbell in a car with the body of 48-year-old grandmother Jane Fitzpatrick, he lied that he had slept through the attack on her.
Campbell, 37, had earlier forced Jane to discharge herself from hospital against medical advice.
