STEVIE TOSH pulled on an Aberdeen strip long before midfielders were talked about as numbers.
But he's in no doubt about the figure which should be put on Ylber Ramadani's head as Italian duo Lecce and Verona look to get their digits right and tempt the Albania international to Serie A.
Tosh reckons Ramadani is the complete midfielder and can play as a six, eight and even a 10.
The old-school 50-year-old who patrolled the Pittodrie engine room two decades ago still prefers to call it a holding midfielder, box-to-box man or attacking midfielder.
But when it comes to Ramadani he reckons the Dons star is top quality in anyone's language.
Which is why he's not surprised by Aberdeen chiefs' decision to boot Lecce's £850,000 bid for Ramadani into touch, as revealed by Record Sport on Monday.
He's seen Dave Cormack hold out for big bucks on Scott McKenna, Lewis Ferguson, Calvin Ramsay and Ross McCrorie in recent years.
And it's the last of those McCrorie's £2million move to Bristol City this summer - which he highlights as the market rate for 27-year-old Ramadani.
