Dalglish: Scotland have respect of top nations now thanks to Clarke

KENNY DALGLISH claims Scotland have earned respect back from Europe’s big guns. 

And the nation’s record cap holder insists it’s why the squad can swagger off to Seville with genuine belief of clinching their Euro 2024 spot.

Dalglish is full of admiration for boss Steve Clarke plus his mature and grounded squad.

Scotland are on the brink of a place in next summer’s finals in Germany and can seal the deal in Spain tomorrow night.

King Kenny, whose last international goal came against La Roja, believes the bulk of the hard qualification yards are covered.

And he’s convinced they can finish the job against the group’s top seeds due to the excellent ability and attitude within the national camp.
