A NOTORIOUS killer threatened to slit a female custody officer’s throat in an escape bid.
James Demarco’s threat came during a hospital visit from the jail where he is serving a life sentence.
He was captured by police shortly after he fled from Perth Royal Infirmary. When he was charged, he responded: “Like that will make a difference to my life sentence, ha ha.”
