Wills and Kate will lead anniversary tributes for Queen

IN LESS than a month, the nation will remember the Queen on the first anniversary of her death after a record-breaking 70-year rule.

And the tributes will be led by the Prince and Princess of Wales, who are to honour the life and legacy of our late monarch with a public message.

The couple are expected to recognise the outpouring of emotion from across the world in the days and weeks that followed the Queen's death on September 8 last year.

But the King has decided against publicly marking his mum's passing, choosing to mark the date privately at Balmoral in Scotland where she died aged 96.
