A TOP anti-terror cop has been reinstated after he was sacked over claims he indecently touched a woman at a conference.

Chief Superintendent Pat Campbell won his appeal after it looked like his 27-year career in the force was over.

Campbell was suspended in late 2021 over allegations about his conduct at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh weeks earlier.

He was accused of putting his hand on a woman's waist and stomach and failing to remove it when asked.

The alleged incident took place at the Scottish Cyber Awards which was attended by hundreds of guests.
