A COUPLE who transported their dream home 600 miles from Wales to a Scottish island have become the stars of a new television programme.
Ewan and Amy Macdonald, from Inverness, planned to build a Scandinavian home for them and their four boys, Jake, Alex, Lewis and Ben, on North Uist in the Outer Hebrides in the hope their sons will grow up surrounded by nature.
But poor weather on the island meant the construction of their home had to take place in a Welsh factory, before the building was moved north across sea and land.
