RAITH..................3

CLIFTONVILLE..O

ADAM MASSON is certain Raith hero Lewis Vaughan would be running out in the Premier League down south if it hadn't been for his injury hell.

Vaughan was the matchwinner against Queen's Park with a double in Rovers' last Championship outing and was back on the scoresheet as they roared into the SPFL Trust Trophy fourth round.

The frontman added a fantastic assist for defender Masson to bag his first goal for the Stark's Park club.

It was another magnificent display from Vaughan, who returned to playing in October after a nightmare fourth cruciate ligament injury.

Masson, who made his first start of the season against Cliftonville, hailed the role Vaughan has played in Raith's brilliant start to the campaign, which sees them second in the league four league games in.

With Ian Murray's side having lost only to Hibs this term, the 18-year-old said: "Lewis is different class. The quality he has is frightening.
