Why did FM mislead us about iPad data row?

HUMZA Yousaf has been accused of misleading the public after defending Michael Matheson over his £11,000 data bill.

Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar claimed the First Minister had misled people after it emerged he learned the truth days before the Health Secretary's public mea culpa.

Matheson told MSPs on Thursday his teenage sons had racked up the colossal data bill when they used his Holyrood-issued iPad to watch football during a family holiday in Morocco last Christmas.

He initially insisted the device was only used for parliamentary work during the trip, only to then reveal he had recently discovered his family's involvement.
