Tech weapon will make online cons harder to identify

CYBER-criminals are using ChatGPT’s “evil twin” as a powerful new AI weapon.

The sophisticated tool has only been active for a few weeks but hackers are already believed to be stealing the identities of hundreds of web users.

Dubbed FraudGPT, it uses phishing pages and harmful code to craft scam texts, emails and documents to fool victims into handing over security details and passwords.
