Iraola still on Red alert in spite of Mo missing out

THE prospect of facing a Mo Salah-less Liverpool has Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola no less scared.

Egyptian superstar Salah will today be missing from a Reds Premier League side for the first time since May 2022 – having played 97 per cent of minutes this season – due to his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations.

But no Salah means a hungry replacement like Diogo Jota, Harvey Elliott, Luis Diaz or Cody Gakpo desperate to fill his boots and earn more game time in the long term.

Cherries chief Iraola said: “It is a big loss for them but they will not change their identity.
