MY BUBBLE HAS NOT BURST

CHRIS WILDER will not allow the uncertainty over his future to derail Sheffield United's promotion bandwagon.

The Blades boss is performing an outstanding job at his hometown club and they lie second in the Championship ahead of today's visit of West Brom.

Wilder signed an 18-month contract when he returned to Bramall Lane last December, but that is due to expire in the summer.

United's change of ownership was finally completed on Monday when COH Sports a consortium headed by Americans Steven Rosen and Helmy Eltoukhy bought the club from Prince Abdullah.

Wilder is hoping to earn a new contract and be backed in the January transfer window but is playing a waiting game on his future.
