A PREMATURE baby weighing little more than 1lb was so small that a babygrow meant for a newborn swamped him.

George Kirwan was born at only 28 weeks, weighing 1lb 7oz.

The pregnancy had been fraught with worry after mum Chloe Kirwan, 33, suffered bleeding at 18 weeks.

At the 28-week scan, doctors saw George had stopped growing and told Chloe he would need delivering early.
