FULHAM.......1 C PALACE.......1
MUNIZ 52 ❱ SCHLUPP 87
JEFFREY SCHLUPP came off the bench to show £60million-rated Michael Olise how to make the net bulge.
Sub Schlupp’s 87th-minute 20-yard stunner was only good enough to earn Crystal Palace a point due to their wayward first-half finishing and Rodrigo Muniz’s 52nd-minute opener for Fulham.
Olise – linked with a big-money move away from Selhurst Park this summer – was the biggest culprit, firing horribly wide when clean through in the sixth-minute.
It had boss Oliver Glasner shaking his head, but if that miss puts the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain making a move for the 22-year-old winger, the Palace boss will not mind that silver lining at all.
