BARBARA Windsor’s widower is haunted by the sound of her tapping nails and the smell of her favourite perfume.
Scott Mitchell, 59, said the late Dame Barbara pushed him to write a book about their romance.
He added: “I can feel Barbara now, tapping her nails, fixing her hair, standing in a cloud of Shalimar and waiting for me to carry out her instructions and carry on her legacy.
