MILLIONS of jobs could be taken over by artificial intelligence and slash the pay of those left in work.
Up to a quarter of working tasks could be replaced by the technology in coming years, warns a worrying report by investment bank Goldman Sachs.
That means as many as 300 million full-time jobs worldwide could be automated in some way by the newest wave of Al that has spawned platforms like ChatGPT, the bank's economists say.
