JURGEN KLOPP admits life after Liverpool might involve him learning how to become a chef.

But on the evidence of what him and his team served up here, he might as well not bother.

Because this will leave a bitter taste in the mouths of supporters long after Klopp has left Anfield.

Liverpool have looked stale in recent weeks, and this home defeat to Crystal Palace appears to leave their hopes of winning the title well and truly cooked.

A first-half goal from Eberechi Eze did all the damage, to seal a welldeserved win for the Eagles.

It was Liverpool's first league defeat at home since 2022.

LIVE FOOTE And it came just three days after b Atalanta thrashed Klopp's men 3-0 here in the Europa League quarterfinal. In less than 100 hours, Liverpool's season has imploded.

Klopp had been boosted by the return of Alisson following 10 weeks out with a hamstring problem.

The German also recalled Mo Salah, Conor Bradley, Andy Robertson and Luis Diaz as part of five changes as the Reds looked to return to the top of the table.

The omens had suggested this would be a comfortable win for the hosts. Liverpool were unbeaten in their last 28 home league games, while Palace had not won in five and not tasted victory on their travels since the start of November.
