STEVE Wright has been hailed as an "outstanding and innovative broadcaster" after the DJ's shock death aged 69.
Former colleague Ken Bruce led tributes to the legendary DJ after his family confirmed the sudden news "with deep sorrow and profound regret". They said he had left behind "millions of devoted radio listeners who had the good fortune and great pleasure of allowing Steve into their daily lives".
