ANOTHER boxer has this week been handed a ban for breaching doping rules in this country.
Polish light-heavyweight Krzysztof Glowacki was given a four-year ban for using a steroid disguised as testosterone substance following a UK Anti-Doping test after his win over Brit Richard Riakporhe last year.
That means there are now five boxers serving doping bans under UKAD/World AntiDoping Agency jurisdiction.
They are Amir Khan, Philip Bowes, Kamil Sokolowski, Zolani Tete and Glowacki.
Only two are British - Khan and Bowes, who were both caught using banned substance Ostarine.
That shows the British Boxing Board of Control and UKAD are catching cheats.
Only rugby union and rugby league have more athletes currently serving bans than boxing.
