TOM DAVIES' quickfire hattrick sent Catalans into the Challenge Cup quarter-finals - but his future almost certainly lies elsewhere.

The Dragons winger underlined his deadly finishing skills by crossing the whitewash three times inside the opening 13 minutes.

It was another telling reminder of Davies' quality as Championship parttime outfit Halifax were taken to the cleaners.

But with his contract expiring later this year, Davies is being heavily linked with Super League rivals Hull KR and St Helens.

Catalans boss Steve McNamara, who signed the 27-year-old from Wigan ahead of the 2021 campaign, hinted Davies could leave.
