A TWITTER worker has challenged the Daily Star’s famous wet lettuce to outlast his job at the social media giant after reports of mass firings.
Writer and programmer Sheon Han posted a picture online of the website’s bird logo up against the wilting vegetable to see which one will last longer.
Sheon jokingly tweeted: “My employee login @Twitter vs. Lettuce. Let’s goooooooo.”
Following our clever stunt, which saw the lettuce easily outlast Liz Truss’s 44 days as PM last month, new Twitter owner Elon Musk tweeted: “Pretty good troll tbh.”
