ZAK CRAWLEY says he wants to turn himself into a matchwinner for Ben Stokes.

Ahead of tomorrow's second Test in Nottingham, the England opener has fixed his sights on making a big difference for his country as he looks to ramp up his run-making.

Crawley, 26, weighed in with 76 during Jimmy Anderson's final Test outing at Lord's as the West Indies were crushed by an innings.

But as he nears his 45th outing for England, he boasts an average of a little more than 33.

But he wants to be measured by other metrics.

Crawley said: "You have to be yourself, keep playing your game - for me, hopefully I'll start getting bigger scores.
