JOSH WARRINGTON served up a birthday cake for Leigh Wood yesterday but insisted it will be no party for the Nottingham man when they share the ring.
The 'Leeds Warrior' brought a Victoria sponge with candles for WBA featherweight champion Wood on his 35th birthday yesterday as they announced their October 7 clash at Sheffield Arena.
It was a rather friendly affair as they promoted the bout on a mini press tour in Leeds and Nottingham.
Warrington arrived into the room in a fit of laughter as he revealed Wood's daughter called him a "big dosser" in the hallway after she was egged on to do it by a relative.
And the jovial spirit continued with Warrington, 32, handing over the cake before they exchanged pleasantries.
