- Puts blame for schools debacle on all but her
GROVELLING Gillian Keegan was forced to apologise yesterday after ranting on a “hot mic” about the schools concrete crisis.
The Education Secretary blamed everyone else for the debacle, then moaned during a break in an ITV News interview about the grilling she was getting.
Between takes, as the camera was being repositioned, she whined: “Does anyone ever say, ‘You know what, you’ve done a f***ing good job because everyone else has sat on their arse and done nothing?’ No signs of that, no?’”
She later apologised for her “choice language” and said it was an “off-the-cuff remark” aimed at “nobody in particular”.
